From September 30th to October 2nd at the American Dream in New Jersey, the K-Lifestyle USA 2022 event will be underway. This diverse showcase, hosted by KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) New York, grants attendees an opportunity to try a large selection of trendy South Korean lifestyle brands.
Which Korean brands and products will you see at the event?
Displaying products from over 100 companies, the event emphasizes the quality of Korean technology that U.S. consumers have come to recognize, including quality-of-life-based brands that range from beauty and fashion to food.
Leading the ever-developing consumer standards, numerous Korean brands have taken upon specific social responsibilities. From this vast selection of participating companies, 15 are eco-friendly, and 7 have begun the development of unique products for existing minorities among consumers, such as books written in braille. Other brands are dedicated to making donations to those in need. Attendees can experience how companies are dedicating themselves to improving society.
What can you expect from this experience?
Admission is free and will be open to the public on the 1st floor of the American Dream. Attendees will be able to try products and receive samples from every K-beauty, K-food, and K-lifestyle brand available.
For those more inclined towards electronic access, products from every brand will have corresponding QR codes for online shopping. Discount codes can be found on certain products. A raffle event will also be available for those who buy products worth $20 or more, with prizes ranging from a 65” LG TV to a premium cosmetics set. Moreover, visitors will find photo booths around the event, with free photo prints and their names printed in Korean.

You’ve probably heard of the South Korean boy band BTS, or possibly the girl group TWICE. Maybe you know of K-dramas and K-films from streaming services and videos. If so, you’ll surely enjoy these events! Various modern and traditional K-culture showcases will be held at the event. Some featured shows include traditional Korean dance, a makeup show, a Taekwondo demonstration, and a K-pop dance choreography!
